[NB: Times indicated in Bold Type contribute to the sleep deprivation suffered by Palestinian children] News updates:   During the past month of October, Israel forces carried out 107 Gaza ceasefire violations, before finally provoking the firing of a single missile from Gaza on the last day of the month. Following that Palestinian missile being launched, Israeli forces made three more attacks on Gaza neighbourhoods.   On 1 November, Resistance fighters launched ten missiles from Gaza into southern Israel, resulting in flying shrapnel that injured a woman and damaged a house. Israeli forces quickly reacted, with air strikes hitting a large number of areas in Gaza that killed one person, Ahmad Muhammad al-Shakhri. The Israeli Energy Minister and Security Cabinet member, Yuval Steinitz, said he believed that Israel “may have to set out on a big army operation” against Gaza.   The October Gaza ceasefire violations total score is: Israel 111 to Palestine’s 1. Yet Israel would have the world believe that the relentless military violence it wages against Gaza is solely in response to missile-launches from the territory. The truth is that, whether or not there happens to be missiles fired from Gaza, Israel deploys its Army, Navy and Air Force against it in almost daily ceasefire violations. In October, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats on at least 26 occasions,  wounding two crew members. Israel asserts that Gaza is a threat to Israel and yet it is Israel that constantly invades Gaza. Last month, Israeli forces made at least seven incursions into Gaza, opening fire and using bulldozers to lay waste to the land, while Israeli Army positons behind the Green Line opened fire on Gaza farmland on 49 occasions. Israeli sniper fire against unarmed civilian protesters during October killed one person and wounded 295.    Leslie Bravery PHRC | Palestine Human Rights Campaign Aotearoa/New Zealand  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Let us know if you no longer wish to receive these emails. He described how he had “feared for his life” and that his assailants had ignored his appeals for mercy. Yehudai, an activist with the Israeli Rabbis for Human Rights, was one of five people injured that day near the village of Burin. The assault was perpetrated by Zionist fanatics from the Yitzhar Israeli Occupation settlement. The violence that Yehudai and his fellow humanists suffered was because they had dared to confront settler militants intent upon terrorising Palestinian olive harvesters.   Palestinians have to live with homes spray-painted with Stars of David that have now become terror symbols, along with settler graffiti often including racist hate messages. While violent settlers roam freely, Israel’s military Occupation prevents
