January 18 Palestinian attacks: none Israeli attack – injury: Northern Gaza – 15:40, a 17-year-old youth, Mohammad Sarour, was wounded when Israeli Army positions behind the Green Line opened fire on workers in the north of Beit Lahiya. Israeli attack – agricultural sabotage: Northern Gaza – 16:20, Israeli Army positions behind the Green Line opened fire on several Jabalya farmers. One farmer, Yusef Odeh, received head injuries after being struck by a tear gas grenade. Israeli Army stun tear gas grenade assault: Jerusalem – 16:00, the Israeli Army fired stun and tear gas grenades at children near al-Ram. Israeli Army stun tear gas grenade assault – head injuries: Bethlehem – 14:50, a 16-year-old boy, Salah Al-Imarin, sustained serious head injuries when Israeli troops positioned at a military post near the Ubeidya refugee camp fired stun and tear gas grenades at local residents. Non-violent resistance: Hebron – 18:00, the Israeli Army assaulted a protest demonstration in east Yatta and took people prisoner. Non-violent resistance: Jerusalem – 18:00, after Friday prayers in Beit Iksa, villagers set up a protest village named “Bab Al-Qarama” and used concrete blocks to build a miniature mosque until Israeli forces stormed the area and photographed the protesters.. Non-violent resistance – injury: Ramallah – 11:40, in Budrus one person, Sudqi Awad, was injured when Israeli forces fired rubber-coated bullets at anti-annexation Wall protesters. Non-violent resistance – injury – tear gas casualties: Ramallah – 12:50, in Al-Nabi Saleh village one person, Nariman Al-Tamimi, was injured when Israeli forces fired tear gas grenades and rubber-coated bullets at protesters. Several other people were overcome by Israeli tear gas. Non-violent resistance – tear gas casualties: Ramallah – 13:00, several people were overcome by tear gas during an Israeli Army assault on protesters in the villages of Ni’lin and Bil’in. Occupation settler violence: Nablus – 10:25, three Israeli settler vehicles invaded Beita. Occupation settler vandalism – damage: Jericho – 15:40, stone-throwing settler militants damaged a passing vehicle on the main road leading to the Wadi al-Qult area. Raid – water crime: Tubas – 10:00, Israeli troops raided Yarza village and took five people prisoner for attempting to dig a well in the village. Raid – destruction of home – population transfer: Tubas – morning, the Israeli Army raided Hamamat al-Malah and al-Yatma villages in the north Jordan valley destroying and confiscating tent dwellings and forcibly removing residents from the area. Economic sabotage: Gaza – the Israeli Navy continues to enforce six-nautical-mile Gaza fishing limit. January 19 Palestinian attacks: none Israeli attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 06:30, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off Beit Lahiya. Israeli attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 06:45, Israeli gunboats again opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off Beit Lahiya. Home invasions and occupation: Qalqilya – 22:50, Israeli troops raided Immatin village, invaded three homes and photographed the members of a family. Home invasions and occupation: Hebron – 16:15, the Israeli Army raided the al-Urub refugee camp and fired tear gas grenades as they stormed a home. Israeli Army violence – injury – hospitalisation: Hebron – 20:10, a local resident, Jamil Karaja, was admitted to hospital with injuries sustained when being pursued by Israeli troops in Ramadin village. Non-violent resistance: Hebron – 10:30, an attempted demonstration in south Yatta against land confiscation and settler violence was prevented by the Israeli Army. Nine people were taken prisoner. Occupation settler vandalism: Tulkarem – 22:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Israeli troops, stoned passing vehicles on the main road leading to the Enev Occupation settlement. Occupation settler vandalism: Nablus – 17:00, Israeli settler militants, accompanied by the Israeli Army, invaded Orif village. Occupation settler vandalism: Nablus – evening, a mob from the Yitzhar Occupation settlement stoned passing vehicles on the nearby main road in north Huwara. Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Bethlehem – 11:40, Zionist fanatics stormed Husan village farmland and uprooted 20 olive trees. Raid: Jenin – 17:30, firing stun grenades, the Israeli Army raided al-Arqa village. Violation: Jerusalem – an Israeli court sentenced a 14-year-old boy, Amir Faroukh, to seven days deportation to Hebron and imposed a fine of the equivalent of approximately US$1350 as well as imposing bail amounting to US$2160. January 20 Palestinian attacks: none Israeli attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 06:30, Israeli gunboats opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off Beit Lahiya. Israeli attack – economic sabotage: Northern Gaza – 08:30, the Israeli Navy opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats off Beit Lahiya. Israeli Army tear gas and rubber-coated bullets – injuries: Jerusalem – evening, two protesters, Mohammad Hammadin and Mohammad Shamashna, were injured when Israeli troops at a checkpoint near Beit Iksa fired tear gas grenades and rubber-coated bullets at residents on their way to the Bab al-Qarama protest village. Israeli Army tear gas grenades: Jerusalem – 20:00, Israeli troops at the Qalandya checkpoint fired tear gas grenades at pedestrians. Israeli Army tear gas grenades: Ramallah – 16:00, Israeli soldiers in Budrus village fired tear gas grenades at nearby children. Israeli Army tear gas grenades: Hebron – 21:10, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance to Beit Ummar fired tear gas grenades at residents. Occupation settler vandalism: Nablus – 18:30, militants from the Yitzhar Occupation settlement stoned nearby passing vehicles. Occupation settlement development – agricultural sabotage: Jerusalem – Israeli Army bulldozers began levelling farmland in the Shu’fat area for a road to connect Jerusalem city centre with the Occupation settlements of Ramat Shlomo and Ramout. Occupation road casualties: Jericho – 21:25, a Palestinian villager, Raziq Jubran, was admitted to hospital after being run over by an Israeli settler vehicle near Marj Al-Ghazal.
